Kathy W. Nichols

Kathy W. Nichols is an associate attorney at Carlson & Jayakumar LLP. She has practiced law since 2004 with a focus in business litigation. At Carlson & Jayakumar, Ms. Nichols practices healthcare law and represents a variety of clients including hospitals, physicians, licensed healthcare professionals, and professional corporations. Ms. Nichols has extensive experience representing licensed professionals before the California Medical Board and Board of Chiropractic Examiners from the investigation stage through trial. She also represents physicians and medical groups in Medicare and private healthcare insurance audits and fraud investigations. Ms. Nichols also advises physicians and medical groups regarding corporate and healthcare laws.

Prior to joining Carlson & Jayakumar, Ms. Nichols practiced business litigation with an emphasis in real estate.

Ms. Nichols received her J.D. in 2003 from the Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. and her B.A. degree from the University of California, Riverside in 1999.
