Amanat Singh, Esq.

Amanat Singh is an associate attorney at Carlson & Jayakumar, LLP where her practice encompasses all aspects of healthcare law. She has extensive experience working with clients in the healthcare sector, particularly in healthcare transactions and privacy issues involving HIPAA and CCPA, as well as licensing and regulatory work for senior care providers. She is also well-versed in regulatory filings related to ownership changes, property transactions, and Medicare compliance for continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs).

Ms. Singh is known to her clients for her tenacity, responsiveness, and ability to simplify the complex—an invaluable trait in the ever-changing, complex world of healthcare law. Before joining Carlson & Jayakumar, she worked with a large California firm where, in addition to practicing healthcare law, she guided nonprofit organizations from formation through achieving tax-exempt status.

Painting and volunteering at her local elementary school are a few ways she spends her free time. She also enjoys quality time with her family, her dog, and two cats, and the occasional binge of the latest Netflix show.Amanat Singh earned her J.D. from the University of California Davis, School of Law where she held leadership roles with the King Hall Negotiations Team, Law Review, and the Middle Eastern South Asian Student Association. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Public Policy, and a minor in Painting, and where she was honored as a Renaissance Scholar and achieved the USC Price School Dean’s List.
