Welcome Khalid S. Jamal, New Employment Law and Healthcare Law Attorney!

Khalid Jamal is an associate attorney with Carlson & Jayakumar, LLP, focusing on labor and employment law across a broad range of industries, including healthcare. Mr. Jamal consistently produces thorough and effective defense strategies for employers facing claims of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, race discrimination, and other employment litigation matters. He is known for simplifying complex legal concepts for diverse audiences and building strong client relationships through responsive communication.

Before joining Carlson & Jayakumar, LLP, Mr. Jamal practiced as an associate at a national employment law firm, where he represented a multinational clothing company, global restaurant franchises, and an international food manufacturer. He has litigated in both state and federal courts, securing favorable outcomes for clients against some of California’s most aggressive plaintiff firms. Additionally, he has experience in healthcare operations and regulatory compliance, gained through collaboration with a veteran’s organization and a reputable medical center.

Mr. Jamal attended Chapman Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where he was recognized for his strong academic record, earning the Highest-Grade Award in Business Planning and serving as an Academic Fellow. He also holds a B.A. in Psychology from Concordia University Irvine. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, traveling internationally, and playing golf.
